Environmental Policy

At Commercial Fuel Solutions, a strict environmental policy is in place as part of our contribution to protecting the environment.

All of the employees including the directors are committed to sound environmental practises in all areas of our business.

We separate and recycle newspaper, office paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, batteries, toner cartridges, packaging material, scrap metal and all types of fluorescent and long life light bulbs.

We have a target to divert at least 70% of our waste from landfill in the current year. We work in conjunction with Southampton local council to help us exceed our targets.

Our newly built facility in the heart of Southampton falls neatly in to our green initiative by exceeding the government’s latest standards for energy efficiency and CO2 emissions.

In addition to the above practices;

• We print our letters and business cards on to FSC certified & recycled paper.
• We reuse supplier packaging wherever possible.
• We actively pursue the reduction of water usage in our bathrooms, washrooms and workshop.
• We ensure all electrical appliances, including computers, tools, heating and lighting are turned off when not in use

Finally, we always try to work with suppliers who also follow good environmental policies.

If you feel that there are other ways we could improve on this policy, we welcome your feedback, after all we all have our part to play in caring for our environment.

Sincerely

Mr R A Futcher
